Stones, soils, minerals
The amounts of dust released in this industry are considerable. Therefore, practical dust extraction systems are a key concern. Infastaub filter systems can reduce dust emissions by more than 99%. We analyse your emission values and offer you the best and most economical filter solution for your needs.
Examples
Dust removal from silos
An INFA-JETRON AJP 224-P series vent filter is used to remove dust from the exhaust air of a pneumatically filled silo. The filter unit is cleaned pneumatically and is therefore suitable for continuous conveying processes.
The vent filter is designed for a volume flow of 55 m³/min in the final surge or 10-12 m³/min during conveying with a raw gas dust load of 5-10 g/m³. The filter cartridges have a total filter area of 22 m². The filter cartridges can be replaced easily and without tools on the clean gas side thanks to quick-release fasteners. The design of the filter unit (filter cartridges and pneumatic cleaning) is identical to that of the Infa-Jetron AJB silo filter.

Central dust extraction from workstations
In a training centre for stonemasons, approx. 20 workstations are dedusted via a central filter. The total air volume is 360 m³/min. and is cleaned via an INFA-LAMELLEN-JET, type AJL 3/1083, with a filter area of 324 m². The dust is discharged from the three-chamber filter via a shared hopper with a screw conveyor and a rotary valve. In case the workstations are later used for working with paints and solvents, the filter has been designed to be pressure shock resistant (up to 0.4 bar) with bursting discs.

Cartridge filter for the manufacture of refractory bricks
Refractory bricks are used in industrial high-temperature processes. Among other things, clay is required for their manufacture. In this dust extraction project, the bulk material is removed from a big bag station. The dust extraction of the big bag station is carried out by an Infa-Jetron IPF cartridge filter. The separated dust is returned to the production process via a rotary valve and a downpipe. The fan is located on the side.

Silo top filter for dedusting the silo filling
Dust removal from five silos, which are filled pneumatically individually with silo tankers, is carried out using five Infa Jetron AJB silo vent filters. The new filters were mounted on existing welded frames. The filter elements are cleaned pneumatically using short pressure pulses.
